One of the bad things about downloading paid iPod Touch apps (along with the fact that they cost money) is that you have no idea whether you are going to like the app or not. Like say if you pay 1.99 for an app that you really wanted and you don't like it, that's 1.99 down the drain.

But that's the same with anything, games on PC or console etc.

Why not look up reviews before you buy? My website, Appgamer.net, has plenty of suggestions.

Anyway, for paid game apps you really do need:
Angry Birds
Cut The Rope
Dead Space
Real Racing 2
Infinity Blade

and more companies are doing a free version with a single in app purchase to own the game once you reach a certain point. I recommend trying out Starfront: Collision from Gameloft.
