I just found out that the classic football game kick off is coming to PS2. its called Kick off 2002. Anyone else know this already.
Kick of was on of the first football game I had, I had the NES version and it was great. But I doubt if the new version will do wel compared to ISS and fifa.

I had Kick off for the Nes too, never really liked it, you always lost possesion when your player changed direction. I cant see any new Footie game taking Pro Evos crown if king kick around, but beating Fifa, thats not hard to do. :D

its set for febuary 2002, but I wouldnt be surprised if its pushed back. I havent seen it in a mag yet.
I had Kick off '97 for the PC and it was great! Time has moved on and Pro Evolution Soccer has caught my fancy, but there's still no stopping Kick Off kicking Fifa out of the footie scene.

Yeah - I heard about a couple of weeks ago that Kick Off was to return - If its anything like the original it should be great!! Also I heard it may be at a reasonable price, £29.99 - Something like that!! Not sure when its out though!!
I think Pro Evolution Soccer is the one that is currently setting the standard for footie games on the PS2, ISS has always gone for 'realism' whereas FIFA has always been about a frantic kickabout with 20-15 scorelines at the end of a match.
Kick Off has got a LOT to live up to if it's going to match the current quality of footie games that is around at present.
