My local emporium were good enough to let me have these excellent titles a day before release, so I've had a quick 10-minute blast on both games.
Devil May Cry has the best intro I've seen. Yes, better than Code Veronica. The graphics are gorgeous, they look rich, vibrant. There are borders which are quite bad, but you can't have everything I guess.

Yeah Jak + Daxter is brilliant - The best game Ive played in a while!! Better than Mario I think!!

Why? Because a magazine said you'd finish it in a weekend? Why not rent it and see for yourself, I think you'd be surprised.
Jak & Daxter is freakin' hilarious, I haven't played a platform-adventure this good, since well, Mario 64. Yes, it's better than Mario 64.
