I hadn’t heard of it until the TV ads started. They caught my intention. So, does anyone know anything about it?
I might hold on for Midnight Club 2 - it's has some great reviews!
I'm playing primal as well and am stuck on the 2nd world. I've activated all the substations and am at the part where you have to flip the final switch on top of the purification tower. The only problem is, I can't figure out how to get up there! (to the top of the tower, that is) If you could let me in on how to get to the top of the tower to flip that damn switch I'd greatly appreciate it!
:)
foolio, where did you get your name? it just reminds me of something from last year.
I beat the second world on primal today, so I got past the other tricky part. On to the third of four realms...
I got Primal on the 26th. It's pretty cool in some ways, and lame in others. It's not too far from being another tomb raider, so that's kind of lame. But the stories are cool and the fact you can morph into different demons is really cool. You also need to integrate the use of the two characters, Jen and Scree. This teamwork is necessary because each charater is capable of certain things the other isn't, so there's another deimension you will have. This game is relatively puzzle oriented. Sure there are battles, but they don't seem to be the focus of the game. The fights themselves ar pretty weak. The fght controls are dumb (L-1, L-2, and R-2), but if you hit them in the right order you can do cool combo and finishing moves. As of right now, I'm on the second world. I've been stuck for two days on this part. I'm in the water world and I need to align some cogs to return functionality to a water filtration system so the realm's residents don't die from contaminated water and have to sarifice their queen. This puzzle is pretty freakin hard. I'm pretty good at these games, so there are some tricky parts. Anyway, if anyone has a tip for me here, that would rule. Go buy the game. It's worth as much as any of the other games of this type. A fresh alternative to tomb raider.
It was a very good looking game, but I didn't think much of the controls and the combat was a bit hit and miss. Bearing in mind that the demo was a much earlier build than the finished game, I hope that they would have ironed out a few niggles.
Strange that you can't jump though.....?
