Hi all

Just thought I'd add my two penny's worth to the forum. I think Nintendo should let the UK (and Europe) gaming population know where they're going to release the Gamecube over here *BEFORE* Christmas.

This may go some way to stop extra sales of the Playstation 2 - i.e. people may be persueded to wait for the new Nintendo console rather then get a Playstation 2. This would make parents less likely to buy their kids a Gamecube on release.. therefore having even more of a detrimental effect on the Gamecube's sales in this country :/

Added to the fact that I *really* want to get a Gamecube :)

To be honest, there wasn't anything I liked about the N64.

Gamecube sounds better.

It does but without the N64 controller there would be no Duel shock PS controller for a while at least putting gaming back several years.

The fact of the matter is few Europeans spent money on that oh so brilliant N64 if we did Nintendo would go hang on they like our consoles but other than the Gameboy they do overally bad.

In America though those americans buy the N64 something us Europeans didn't so Nintendo have a choice give more consoles to a continant that buys there stuff or to one that doesn't!

The GC will come as soon as Nintendo can but America comes first and who can we blame, no not Nintendo but those annoying Playstation owners who bought a PS1 rather than an N64 grrrrrr.

Well im waiting.

Personally, I haven't got enough money to get both of the consoles, which is a shame. The Playstation 2 actually has some games that would make me want to buy it (GTA 3, GT3, ISS Evolution Soccer) but I expect ISS and GTA 3 (correct me if I'm wrong) will make it to the Gamecube.

I really want to get a gamecube for the *Nintendo* games that won't come out on any other consoles - Mario, Zelda, Mario Kart etc - you always seem to be guarenteed a good game.

Ho hum!

I don't really think Nintendo cares about us Europeans anymore!!!
You're right though, they are going to lose a lot of sales by acting like this.

Ahh well.... I have a PS2, and I don't have enough cash to buy a gamecube or games, so I'm happy how it is.
GameCube sounds good though, just not good enough to temp me away from my PS2.
