I have £150 to spend today and man is it going to be fun! However I don't know exactly what to buy, maybe you can help me decide...

Personal CD walkman - £25
New pair of shoes - £40
New Linkin Park Album - £15
Funky new shirt - £20

That makes £100, I have another £50 to blow and don't know what to spend it on. Help...

That way I can get about 40 songs on a disc and it costs me just £25 for the CD player instead of like £50.

You'll only get about 30.

20 on 700mb
40 on 900mb

No way would that work.

I have had 30 songs on a 700mb disc before, easily! If you use Nero you can 'overburn' or something, allowing you to put more songs on the disc.

I know but it is a pain if you want to skip to the last track, you'd have to press skip 159 times!

I do use Nero, the most I've ever had is 24, and I think that was with overburn. In fairness most of my songs are between 4-6 minutes long, I've even got a few over 16 minutes :D

I can only agree with the idea to get a MP3 CD player.

Skipping is not a problem, you could either put them in separate folders (only works on some players I think) or it allows you to skip through 10 at a time.

They only cost about £50, and function as a CD player too. Don't see where you can go wrong with that...

New Linkin Park Album - £15
Funky new shirt - £20

That way you'll have £25 to spare, get something in Dixons. :-D

Get your linkin park CD from play.

Cost you about £11 at most there. With the extra £4 you can buy a magazine, some food or buy your mum a card for tomorrow
