I have £150 to spend today and man is it going to be fun! However I don't know exactly what to buy, maybe you can help me decide...

Personal CD walkman - £25
New pair of shoes - £40
New Linkin Park Album - £15
Funky new shirt - £20

That makes £100, I have another £50 to blow and don't know what to spend it on. Help...

Meh, a £25 CD player is B-A-D. Here's a reasonably priced good CD player... Only £65 pounds! That means you have a tenner left... It's from ARGOS, so it's good. It's the same one as mine [I've had it for ages, and it works so well]. URL= http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/commerce/command/ExecMacro/ ols_prod_detl.d2w/report?prrfnbr=5123724&prmenbr=6970 &type=big&thisMode=ols&cgrfnbr=775477
[Minus the space between "ExecMarcro/" and "ols_prod_detl...", and the space between "...&prmenbr=6970" and "&type=big&thisMode..."]

Or, if not that, at least get Placebo's new album, Sleeping With Ghosts.

I have a cube already Blokey.

I don't want to spend like £65 on a personal CD player - the one I am getting is a Goodmans one and has everything I need. It has a 10 hour playback, remote control, recharge and mains adapter so I am fine with it. There is no point paying £40 more for a 30/40 hour playback if I aren't going to need it.

A 32 meg one which holds 8 or 9 songs. I would rather not. A decent one like the Zen Jukebox costs about £230 which I can't afford or justify paying. I will settle with a personal CD player.

Does anyone know if regular personal cd players play copied CD's or not?

I will rephrase what Robin said: Get an MP3 CD-Player, that way you have 700mb to play with.

But if I can play copied CD's on a personal CD player - I may as well just burn MP3's to a 900MB disc.
