Quite clearly the Dreamcast is no match for the ps2. There are evn roumours going around that the Dreamcast is Segas last Console. Aww Poor Sega. But if they want to be competitive they have to at least come up to the standards that the PS2 has, wich quite frankly I don't think will hapen! Face it Sega you are fighting a losing battle.

Or all the games that Sega are doing for the XBox.

Or the fact that Sega have started up production of the DreamCast again.

Slik obviously hasn't read about all the games that Sega are also producing for PS2. Talk about only hearing half the story!

Yes, yes, we know the Dreamcast has been dressed in black, laid in its coffin and is headed for the graveyard of forgotten heroes, but that's not really the point.

Question: What does the PS2 do better than the Dreamcast to justify millions of gamers snubbing it in favour of waiting over a year and a half for the PS2?

Are the graphics better? - Not really. There's nothing on the PS2 that betters the graphical detail and beauty of Shenmue 1&2.

Is gameplay better on the PS2? - No. Classic games such as Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi 1&2, Virtua Tennis, Headhunter, Code Veronica, MSR, Soul Calibur, all came out well before they were ever going to appear on the PS2. In fact, some of these games are just coming out now on the PS2, and many of them do not even look as good as the Dreamcast versions (for example: Code Veronica).

But in the end it does not matter to me that the Dreamcast is dying. No. Because I can get great games at dirt cheap prices, so who really cares!

well at least theyre better then sony! anyway now that they are partly working for Nintendo things are looking up for sega, and the ps2 has'nt got a hope in hell of competing with the likes of the gamecube if you ask me Sony are the ones fighting a losing battle!
