DBZ was out way before Pokemon in Japan, and besides, it is nothing like Pokemon.

Look, everybody has a favourite cartoon. DBZ happens to be the one of two of mine, with the other being Tom and Jerry.

DBZ can't be that bad as it is a very popular cartoon.

There are people that like it, there are people that don't, and that is the same for every cartoon.

Don't condemn us for liking it.

The U.S dubbed DBZ just sucks. First of all one minute they are having dinner, the next they have blood trickling down their lip, it's awful. And it finished years ago.

Mystique, please don't tell me that you are calling DBZ a Pokemon cash in, or have I misinturpreted what you have said.

The fact that you hate DBZ doesn't really bother me, its your opinion. But DBZ is certainly no pokemon cash in.

Anyone who hates dbz has obviously never seen it.

A few years ago i saw an ad for dbz videos. I had no idea was going on, so i assumed it was crap. WRONG.

I heard Cartoon network were showing it, so i thought id see what it was once and for all. Im glad i did. I have been watching it from vegeta, to frezia to cell and now buu. I am also an appricater of general anime and japanese stories/tv/games. I loved teknoman and FF7.

Mystique, you are also playing to the general femine role of 'its a silly bloke thing'. most girls say that about games. If you can get over one sterotype, why not another?

I am 16 and i know several 17+ Males who enjoy the wonders of the show. It really is good on a deep down mental level. Damn those fights are amazing.

Dragonball Z is a very popular Japanese cartoon. It took approximately 15 years to make.

For it has been out in Japan for around 10 years but released only 2-3 years ago over here in Britain.
