What has happened? I read someone complaining, then I saw no more - someone enlighten me?

Imagine, if you will, that the screenshots of the gube's zelda featured an adult link, but the cell shading was kept.

Personally, i think we'd not have any of the kiddyness talks, but something like (slightly more realistic-looking) jet set radio style graphics, getting praise for its new innovations.


I think that we're all happy enough with cartoony graphics (JSR), or to play as a young child (OoT, MM), but add them together and the kiddy image is perceived as too much.

So, provided we keep that in mind, i don't think there's any reason to worry about how the new graphics indicate a shift in the target game audience. I trust Shigsy.

When more information about the game people might find out that it is a cool game. Little is known about the game so far so don't judge it yet. Just cause it looks bad doesn't mean it will plaY Bad.

A source close to Nintendo told NGC mag this

Years of effort went into creating a huge, sprawling title that took weeks to complete - but how many people, aside from the real Nintendo fans, actually saw all of it? The majority of Zelda owners never got to the end. Essentially, all that hard work was wasted on them.

So who didnt get to the end of it?

I've just seen the shots - looks alright. I would have prefered it if they had stuck with the 'serious' look, but its the gameplay that counts.

However, its more ammunition for people saying Nintendo is a kiddies comopany. Yes, there are no games like Eternal Darkness, Resi Evil, or Rogue Leader coming out - oh no. Anyway, i prefer a bright happy game to a dark macabre evil game. Zelda rules!

Yeah. There is a new Cartoony look and some people are taking fits over it. Try some nintendo sites like wwww.nintendo.com and you might see it. I don't care about it as i'm still buying it even if it gets %!!!!!!

What has actualy happened to Zeldas graphics - that is wha I wanted to know - everybody is going on about the difference - what differnce. Has Miyamopto changed the graphics or something? - TELL ME!

There is also a 'rumor' that Zelda will have speach. So each character will talk to you!

Zelda should never have a multiplayer. Zelda is the best single player license in the world and that image must not be lost. Besides, a multiplayer mode would take up too much space and the adventure part would have to be smaller
