You've got to treat it as a full on RPG and really get into it. The first five hours are a bit of a drag, I know, but pursue and you'll realise that there's an entire digital world to explore. In this, you can do absolutely anything. Take over towns, find cures for diseases, join guilds.
It's a class game, but just can't be appreciated at the beginning.

To be honest I played Morrowind under the impression is was going to be a good game, which is what a lot of people had me believe. However, this made playing it and discovering that it was not any good all the more disappointing.

You seriously cannot spot the similarities yourself? Or are you playing dumb?

Ah well, if you're going to be ignorant then fine. You obviously played Morrowind in the completely wrong state of mind - the fun, comes from the depth much like Deus Ex. But if you won't give it a chance it's up to you, you're the one missing out. For the rest of us, it's amazing.
Oh, and I've been meaning to get Jurassic Park. Looks good.

GTA? In which way is it similar? I'm interested now.

No I don't. Who's going to make me? You? I dare you. Plus I took it back to the shop as soon as I could, and got Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis. Now there's a game I haven't been able to put down.
You've just got to give Morrowind a real chance, that's all.

Actually, I do. Zelda and GTA are excellent franchises and I've enjoyed every Zelda and GTA game I've ever played. But how the hell you've managed to compare them with the utterly crap Morrowind is beyond my comprehension.
