You'll find them lying around on the ground in mines and other areas where higher levels just can't be bothered to pick them up. Things like Armour with extra stats., weapons with extra speed, jewellery with special attributes.

Take an Ebony Sword for example. Normally it's a level 1 weapon and very poor, but you can find them with extra damage and so on.
And how do

Killing other players doesn't give you any experience. There are whole guilds made up of low level players now who hunt in packs, taking on high level players for their precious items, then selling the acquired goodies for millions in town. Ask ingame for DrGreen, he's the leader of one of the most notorious 'playerkiller' or 'pk' guilds.

You can have a play around on it for free until your character goes above level 7, and then the next time you login you need your credit card details. (Costs about £1.00 per week).
It's a massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) where you can play as a Warrior (Fighter), Wizard (Spell stuff) or Tao (Healer/Fighter). A bit like Diablo but with more in it to do.
The trick is, there are some level 7 characters in the game who play for free ALL the time, by acquiring lots of decent items to wear which boosts their power without levelling up.
Before that I was playing Legend of Mir.
