If if ever see the Lord of the rings movie, without having read the book first, I will never forgive myself. This is why I intend to read it over the easter break.

what i find amusing is that in america it is "Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone. For the simple reason that Americans would not Know what a Philosopher is.

Don't know what you're going on about when you say "Smash it wiv stick", (sounds more childish than some of your excises for Nintendo being a kiddies company), however Harry Potter can't be that bad if it's become so successful can it?

Well, the GameCube proved to be more popular in America, but still, the fact that it's done very well, if not better, than Pokémon, means it must have loads of fans (or brainwashed people if you prefer) otherwise it would be Harry Potty!

Kids are actually asking where they can apply to a witchcraft school, and that isn't funny. All that witchcraft stuff is really mucked up, and it can work... I don't believe it's right, but demonic powers can and do exist... it's a shame...

The Harry Potter stories were very readable for adults as we have our own perception whilst the movie was definatly a kids film i loved reading the books the film was embarassing, also they cut out the Ron Malfoid fight.... GRRRRRRRR!

Discworld is soooo funny haven't read lord of the rings... Yet.

The day that scum like you understand Lord of the Rings, and the humour of Discworld - will be a sad day WW. Harry Potter is not childish. Scum film and it's scum publicity. Scum.

NHP. Standing for No Harry Potter. I never liked the books and I admit that the movie looks impressive but I think it's too childish and everyone should read Lord of the rings and the discworld novels as they get older. And I'm only 13.
