I just dont get it! The game has come out at a similar time to quality games like silent hill 2 and half life, but it seems to be way more popular. I cant see a akteboarding game having much of a lifespan either, unless thats just me not being very open minded!
I am definately not trying to start any kind of argumant here, and what i would like most is for some of you guys to make me realise that is actually is a great game. After all, the more quality games there are the better.
addictive,
and you can now do loadsa combos....just gotta hold your nerve....
If u mean skate boarding then i think THPS3 is ace and ur just speaking nonsence
I've no interest in Tony Hawk's either. The game looks very good, and I'm sure it plays very well too. And it may also have the distinction of being the first game to properly support online play.
But skateboarding and everything that goes with it just doesn't appeal to me. See, I was a kid when they first arrived... and when they went out of fashion; as far as I'm concerned, they're an unwanted 80's throwback.
Still, each to their own! :-)
But then I'm into skating, i skate myself (well, up until i broke myself) and have watched all these skaters as i grew up. I remember seeing Bam Margera ollie off a house aged 15 (him that is, can't remember how old i was), now he's in my PS2 - admittedly 'cause jackass, but still...
I've always been a fan of Rodney Mullen, my brother even became mullen's "bestest buddie" for an evening when the A-Team crew visited Hull (they came down the pub with us and everything... Gershon Mosely IS that cool/ arrogant)
