Last year one or two thought we should have called in somewhere on the way to Sheffield. So if anyone has suggestions one way or the other let me know and we'll discuss them.
For example the Royal Armoury at Leeds would add about an hour to the trip (plus time spent there). Towton battlefield is about another half hour further out. Or we could just drive to Sheffield and spend some time at Meadowhall.
Give me your thoughts.
I need to book the hotel & ferry in the next few weeks. So I could do with firm numbers at either of the next two clubnights. Either let me know at the meetings or email me direct.
I'll also need payment before or shortly after the bookings.
Mike W has already booked the mini-bus so we are definitely going.
This is open to all members (juniors must be accompanied by an adult). So if anyone else is interested please let us know asap.

are work prohibitive.
The rest are ok. I like the idea of close one dayers, easier to sell the idea to Nicola!

Triples, Sheffield 21st & 22nd May
Phalanx, St Helens, 18th June
St Helens is a nice one day show and easy to get to from Liverpool.
So I would go for Bovington or Triples and St Helens.
Alternatively - if you really want to travel - how abouut an American Convention (including WAGS?)

of course there are many others (even Europe & USA)when we win the Euromillions.
Lets open the discussion and see what everyone thinks.
Firstly, who wants to go?
Secondly, any preferences?
Then we can start looking at costs, accommodation, etc.
