As a newbie Iv'e enjoyed writing some reviews and looking in on the chat every now and again,some of which is very funny.
However Iv'e noticed that when a newbie does have a good point to make or throws in a funny line,it mainly seems to be met in two ways.
A- Childish ridicule.
B- Ignored as a topic.
I know it's tough at the bottom,just like real life.
I also know that all regulars were once in that position,nobody inheret's their regulism.
It would be nice to get some positive input,but it will probably be A or B.

I put the 'no reply' phenomenon down to the fact that my posts are so damn good they say it all therefore there's no need for a response, everybody reads them, nods their head wisely and thinks "Right on FM" then moves onto other things enlightened by their newfound knowledge.

That's pretty much a load of crap, I'm a regular and my topics always get ignored. People who write well are always treat equally to regulars, I've found, just keep posting, even if only 2 people end up reading what you've written.
