I'm not going to give a long winded eulogy, because there's nothing anyone can say other than The Beatles.
You cannot understate just how important that band is for how music is listened to, recorded and played today.
With no George, no Beatles.
Damn
I can't really think of anything suitable to say, sorry.
cancer sucks

Nothing has been said here at all, a forum for music and movies, Harrison made perfect examples of both.
I'm not aiming at anyone specifically, but I'm shocked and amazed that nobody has bother, in this, the life or chat forum to mention it even once.
I understand most are 15 and under, but c'mon folks.
If you are in a band, then The Beatles are one of the reasons, whether you realise it or not.
I just care beyond a level I understand about music, it drives me and to see a minute response to this is like someone saying "Shigsy died!", the forum would be flooded.
That's all.
Seems that someone of titanic influence and history doesn't merit a mention anywhere on here, yet some game about snowboarding does.
I know it's personal preference and all that, but for chrissakes, George Harrison is dead.
Sorry Snuggly, you're one of the good guys but I'm disgusted at the lack of any posts whatsoever since this morning.
That's all.
I'm off to read Wolfenstein manual and listen to Rocky Racoon.
And within 2 days, his solo stuff will soar back up the charts, Beatle music will sell like never and there will be posts here saying "I loved George Harrison and The Beatles", when nobody bothered to reply.
I know I take things seriously, and music more than anyone, but...he's dead.
And nobody said anything.
They made The Long Good Friday, Withnail & I, Life of Brian and a bunch of others.
And for a forum of movie lovers and music fans, the lack of response to this news makes me digusted.
George Harrison is dead.
Without him there would be no Beatles, no Life of Brian or Withnail & I etc etc.
"Oh which is better,Slipknot or Papa Roach?"
Ignorant children.
I didn't know that he funded The Life of Brian, and also had something to do with another production company, that helped to create the likes of The Long Good Friday.
You all linked arms and sobbed when Aaliyah died. Some already-forgotten R&B teen and this place was awash with sympathy and obituaries.
One of the guys from the most important and influential bands ever dies, and nothing?
You are no longer allowed to call yourself music fans.
Go back to your Steps and nu-metal albums.
"While my guitar gently weeps"
"Here comes the sun"
"Taxman"
"All you need is love"
"She loves you yeah, yeah yeah"
And this doesn't merit a mention?
I have nothing to say to you.
Punks.
There's nothing you can do that can't be done
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung
Nothing you can say but you can learn how the play the game
It's easy
There's nothing you can make that can't me made
No on you can save that can't be saved
Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you in time
It's easy
All you need is love
All you need is love
All you need is love, love
Love is all you need
Love, love, love
Love, love, love
Love, love, love
All you need is love
All you need is love
All you need is love, love
Love is all you need
There's nothing you can know that isn't known
Nothing you can see that isn't shown
No where you can be that isn't where you're meant to be
It's easy
All you need is love
All you need is love
All you need is love, love
Love is all you need
All you need is love
All you need is love
All you need is love, love
Love is all you need
Damn cancer.
