George Harrison dies of cancer 9pm last night....
I'm not going to give a long winded eulogy, because there's nothing anyone can say other than The Beatles.
You cannot understate just how important that band is for how music is listened to, recorded and played today.

In our school essambly today, we had a minute silence for him, a History teacher thought we should do it, a good idea I say.

And I believe I was at school all day discussing it today with fellow friends, thats why I would be unable to comment atr 1 o' clock today.

I don't really know what to say. If I'm honest, I'll admit that I'm not The Beatles biggest ever fan, but when you think about it, how much of todays music was influenced them?

It's always sad whan anyone dies, but when it's someone with a talent such as his, it always seems worse.
I didn't even know he had cancer, I just heard the news on XFM this morning, but didn't really know what to say, so I didn't.

I heard it before I left for school this morning, that sucks.
The Beatles were excellent, even Paul McCartney. Well it just goes to show how good they were when a 15 year old in 2001 has half their albums.

Been at school all day - that thing you disapprove of so much, Goatboy. But I am upset by this. I love the Beatles, my favourite track being Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds. Sod Children in Need. Cancer charities need more publicity.
I don't really know what to write. He was a great musician/songwriter who will be missed by many. A sad day for all who loved him, friends family and fans.
