Thats right you golden oldies, stop whinging about things and be more like me (lost argument there).
This time last year it was a cool place, much more of a closer community and friendlier. Although after Christmas we kept moaning about newbies and how it was all:
" GHASTLY GHASTLY NIGHTMARE THE FORUMS ARE IN RUINS "
Now back then we were all new to the place, this place was new, GAD had just started. So there was a minority of people trying to win games thrown in a forum, one day that was more popular so that was classified "home". Everybody made lovely little friends with each other and you could read every reply and stuff... but really look at what the daily GAD was: (made up)
" I think that next year when Nintendo's Dolphin is released it will wipe the floor with PS2 and Microsoft's box. The Dreamcast, this Christmas is its last breath before dying. Now this "Dolphin" is got lots of really good specs, like 32235 bits of memory and can contain 42542 mb of saved games, perfect for bashing Sony wiv stick. I just hope it is not a cube shape and comes in lovely colours like red or blue... also I hope they have more grown up games. "
Honest that was what it was like... thats why I have a few to my name... now its far too intelligent all these smart people knowing stuff about gaming. So in that aspect its a lot better, although like the other day you still get the morons come on and that makes it fun.
All those people from last year are still here, posting strong with advanatges that we did nothing for, all this respect and crap. Sure I prefered it last year, not sure why.
After Christmas last year its good too... you've got lots of new people in who are cool. Other forums like music and life are up and running and its regaining the whole community thing with lots of humour, humour is good.
Although lots of posts to read, hurts eyes.
So stop the whinging, this place rocked and still does.
