Can someone tell me how I can have my website's logo appear when someone bookmarks my site. I feel it would attract more customers :)

Er, probably because I've been too busy doing the website!

I heard that the .ico file couldn't be created using any images creation program, only special ones FOR creating icons (like Icon Forge). Also, the icon file has to be called "favicon.ico" and placed in your root directory.

Create a 16x16 icon file (.ico) and create it using any image editor... (only works in IE4+)

Then insert into the head of the file...





Doesn't stay on the favorites menu if the user clears their cache or temp folder!!
