I bought Duff in my first season for 27million after a lot of selling of crappish players and 2 seasons later he was worth 36 million. He scored 18 goals in 1 season, mainly from frees just outside the box.
I'm sure he'll only get better as he's still only 27 I think it is in my game, so I'll get a few good years out of him yet!

European Cup twice
European Super Cup twice
Italian Super Cup once.
Got to the final of the Coppa Italia for the first time ever last season, only to lose 4-3 due to a 89th minute own goal from Serghino. If it wasn't for him, and Pires' injury which brought him into the squad, 'd have won the cup on away goals.

i do accept there are some good youths at the moment.some of them fail. and they arent replaced.

Not at all. Some players are only 19/20 at the start, so they have 14-20 seasons ahead of them.

Yes, the Spaniard. I got him on free transfer, and played him 17 times in one season. He scored 11 goals. He can't get into my first team though, I only played him last year to replace M. Amoroso, my Attacking Midfielder at the time, who was injured.
I brought Cafu, and basically ruined him. He was good to start off, but now he's like half-way full on the 'overall' bar. I sold him to some Turkish side.
