Not at all. Some players are only 19/20 at the start, so they have 14-20 seasons ahead of them.

i do accept there are some good youths at the moment.some of them fail. and they arent replaced.

I've won:
Serie A twice
European Cup twice
European Super Cup twice
Italian Super Cup once.

Got to the final of the Coppa Italia for the first time ever last season, only to lose 4-3 due to a 89th minute own goal from Serghino. If it wasn't for him, and Pires' injury which brought him into the squad, 'd have won the cup on away goals.

I bought Duff in my first season for 27million after a lot of selling of crappish players and 2 seasons later he was worth 36 million. He scored 18 goals in 1 season, mainly from frees just outside the box.

I'm sure he'll only get better as he's still only 27 I think it is in my game, so I'll get a few good years out of him yet!

Forgot, was gonna mention Rooney. I don't know what happened to him in your game Asher but He's flying in my team. 36 goals two seasons in a row and he's the second strongest overall in the squad, only Duff ahead of him!

Maybe he wasn't nurtured right! :P

I brought Cafu for 18 mil and sold him for 600, 000. Puts into perspective how fast he fell.
