Wandering about the house, walking into chairs, sofa's, tables and the dog, and fumbling with a torch in the complete black dark.
Well, I usually love them to. In a non-sexual way of course. But last night, as Chipseh will know, I was attempting to beat Phillidelphia on NHL 2003. Eventually, I was beating them - they're bloody impossible you see.
The 3rd and final period, 10 seconds to go. The score is 5-3 to the Dallas Stars. And then, then, then.... a powercut.
I cried. We would've been into the Playoffs through goal difference.
Grrr.
But there is a more serious side to it.
The cutting of power commenced at about 10:30pm last night, and electricity was only restored about half an hour ago.
I had a look in the freezer, and quite a lot of food has defrosted. Pies etc.
So, I'll be eating a lot today. Not that I'm complaining.
I live in a fairly small town you see, yet it was only our area of the town. The town's so small I thought the whole place was connected with the same thingy. Yes, thingy. In past powercuts, the whole town usually goes into a world of complete darkness.
Ah well.
I went outside last night. Heh, it was dark. As I expected. But realyl dark, like, 5ft visibility.
Anyway, I'm rambling on now.
I'm off for a pie or 5.

oh yeah. powercuts are scams. damn theifs.
