just bought crazy taxi.put in ps2 & gentle hum of fan drowned out by mad whirring and clicking of disc along with vibrating console.exchanged disc for new one with same problem.other games & dvds work ok.shop says problem with ps2 not disc.a mate has same problem.any ideas anyone?

got quakeIII.no problem with that.

i have only had that with Quake III when i rented it out

all other games i've got work fine & are whisper quiet.problem occurs only with crazy taxi.it just doesn't sound healthy at all to me & i'm worried about damaging the console due to the excessive vibration.anyone else had same problem?

play Quake III and then say you have a problem

when i played crazy taxi it didnt do that?

Its just becasue the CDs spin around faster than the DVDs. So thats why they make more noise. Yes it can be annoying, but i dont think there is much you can do about it.
