just bought crazy taxi.put in ps2 & gentle hum of fan drowned out by mad whirring and clicking of disc along with vibrating console.exchanged disc for new one with same problem.other games & dvds work ok.shop says problem with ps2 not disc.a mate has same problem.any ideas anyone?

Is there any good holiday destinations in this country for next summer probably from sunday to a friday?
This is because it can be a practice run for the year after when the old folk have a 60th party.

I've had CT for a while and haven't noticed anything excessive at all. Hadn't even noticed a difference in noise between the disc types.

mix of all colours & they all sound ok apart from crazy taxi.just one of those things i suppose

I have Crazy Taxi, and it doesn't make much noise. Dunno what the problem is. Are all your other games silver on the bottom (DVD) or have you got other cd's aswell. If all your other games are DVD's, it might be a problem with just CD's. Other than that, i'm not sure.

it's a cd running at 24x and it's damn noisy, Acclaim should have put it on DVD, get another game :-)

tried that.the shop says my ps2 is at fault so won't exchange it for a different game.looks like i'm stuck with it.

dunno take it back and get GTA3

nope.no scratches.brand new game & brand new replacement.game loads & runs ok,just very noisy.reminds me of my old knackered ps when it used to struggle loading games with the disc spinning madly.

well it must be the game then it might have scrathes on it
