It's not hard.
I completed Classic(?) Adventure mode, on my first go, on 'Very Hard'.
The question mark after Classic is because I can't remember if thats what it's called.

It's genius because it's fast, exciting and requires a lot of skill and super reflexes to win on a hard setting.
It's also a wicked multi-player game.
Thing is, 80% of people won't even use half of the moves.
Most people will use the roll everynow and then, but hardly anyone blocks, counters, evades, sidesteps, dodges etc.
I think it was cyclone who loved the game, but he didn't even know you could land on your feet after being hit and perform a quick counter attack until I told him.

I think its crap too. Multiplayer is the only moderately enjoyable part of the game.

No, I am one of the enlightened few who relises that its a very boring game unless you live in a house with 3 other brothers.
