I know, I know - I've already posted this in another thread. But, living in fear that it won't get read, I decided to post it again.

Football realism doesn't get any better, especially when it's in the form of Pro Evo Soccer. My cousin came round last night to have a go and it was a right laugh, it's one of those games that can ellicit an emotional response from the outset.

For instance: My brother was 1-0 down with literally a few seconds to go, he managed to sneak a corner to which he scored from and he reacted like he'd won the World Cup. Anyway, extra-time was played and he won on Penalties in the end, but it's the whole emotional side of things I was intrigued by. You know the developers have got it right when a game such as Pro Evo can attach itself onto as soon as you pick the pad up.

We all knew Pro Evo was going to be something special and it is - and then some too. The control method takes a little getting used to at first, but with perserverance, you'll become more familiar with it.

The depth of the game is incredible, I don't imagine any self-respecting football fans playing anything *but* this at Christmas - why would they need to?

I hope they have changed this......

On the old game when you played a ball to a player sometimes it doesn't go straigh to them. As you can't move ur player manually to run and meet the ball, several occasions are produced when yuo just lose possesion.

On the new one can u move to meet a ball or not?

You certainly can turn the commentry off and no doubt you will, its no better than the previous versions. For a bit of 'watching football on holiday' style drama I occasionaly dabble with the commentary in German.

One gripe I have is that as usual the manual could be better and who translated the game? The aftermatch stats show 'shoots' on goal.

Having said that I can't wait to get back to it!
