"Pro Evolution Soccer Thoughts"

I know, I know - I've already posted this in another thread. But, living in fear that it won't get read, I decided to post it again.

Football realism doesn't get any better, especially when it's in the form of Pro Evo Soccer. My cousin came round last night to have a go and it was a right laugh, it's one of those games that can ellicit an emotional response from the outset.

For instance: My brother was 1-0 down with literally a few seconds to go, he managed to sneak a corner to which he scored from and he reacted like he'd won the World Cup. Anyway, extra-time was played and he won on Penalties in the end, but it's the whole emotional side of things I was intrigued by. You know the developers have got it right when a game such as Pro Evo can attach itself onto as soon as you pick the pad up.

We all knew Pro Evo was going to be something special and it is - and then some too. The control method takes a little getting used to at first, but with perserverance, you'll become more familiar with it.

The depth of the game is incredible, I don't imagine any self-respecting football fans playing anything *but* this at Christmas - why would they need to?

SR's service is brilliant. I am gonna ignore the fact Ihavnt got SD3 yet because its not their fault. Royal Mail lost it so I cant blame it on SR....

SR usually send their games out on Wednesday. ANd i had mine on first class post so i got it cheaper and on Thursday, a whole day before release...which is nice :D

Amazing! they`ve actually improved their service, wow.

Well mine came yesterday.

Anyway, if you buy from SR they send there games to arrive to you on release day 99% of the time, the only reason mine and some other peoples game did not come is that we won GAD to claim pro evo so they only send them in 2nd class post.

my game was free, so i cant complain.

why do u people wait 4 ur games. I get my games from Game, I pre-ordered pro evo soccer and they sent it on the day it was released. admittedly I paid an extra £5 to get on release day, so what, its worth it.

I used 2 b a member of SR, but I found they take too damn long 2 send anything + u have 2 pay membership, WHY?

anyway, so if ya want ya games way fast get em from Game, unless of course they`re outta stock. but every game I got from them has been next day. cant b bad

Same but I still havnt got SD3 from them. So I wont be surprised if PES doesnt arrive till next year....

Me too, Pro Evo. I had built myself up into a frenzy, I even pestered them all week to try to get them to send it to me first class, but no, it didn't come.

Its a good job you can turn off the commentary cause its the only downer about the game!!

(actually shenmue 2 was meant to get to me today too...but even if i did get it today i wouldn't be able to play it lol..well not until tomorrow)
