I'm thinking of getting fifa 2003 after i have got animal crossing and freeloader. Have any of you played it before whats your opinion of the gc version.

Does the fever thingy ball affect the way the game plays?

Not getting a release in Europe on the GameCube as Sony have a deal with Konami that states that Konami can only release the Winning Eleven series for other consoles in Japan.

i've played the PS2 version at freinds it was pants. (probably because of the controller) i tried lots of camera angles i couldn't find a decent one.

PES2? Pants? Controller? Wasn't it Cube that said they were surprised that Winning 11 worked on the GC as it has a bad controller layout? "Boy, it must have been like a rubix cube for the guys at Konami, trying to get the layout right for the 'Cube version" Is something along the lines of what they said...

PS2 version was not bad. Multiformat games are pointless I think. Defeats the object of haveing different consoles.
