Looking through the OC.com database, there seems to be a range of results...some wont go above 525, some hitting 600+ on a Gigabyte board. As with anything, try it and see, might get lucky..

Because otherwise people buy a 1.2, clock it to 1.4 and save themselves £50...well, at the time. Tempted to pick up an old athlon now..maybe after christmas.

The XP bridges really annoy me..everything has to be perfect for them to work, get any conductive ink on the copper base of the channels and it locks on 10.5/11x..damn risky operation, not like the duron here, done under a lamp with a pencil when I got bored with art homework =)

Are we the only 3 hardware people on SR then?

Never tried it, but I was considering it recently...lack of spare parts that I wouldn't mind it leaking on while I test and generallyly having no money has stopped me..

Reaching the limits of what I can do with air cooling, and a vapochill seems a little excessive..

hey
enyone here tried water cooling? i am thinking of venturing into the unknown abyss of water cooling but was wondering if it was worth the money as it isnt very cheap to buy the bits because they all have to be imported, no one in the u.k. supplies the stuff yet, i also want to use a peltier i need at least a 100 watt peltier as my chip give off about 91.1 watts of heat. Cani air cool this peltier that would be so much easier. anyone got any ideas

cheers

I have a lovely Antec that I'm proud of, got it a few weeks ago. Its lovely, and Phil stole my idea, and don't let him tell you otherwise!

Pics are on ocUK or at:
http://luke.ac6.org/antec

My old case was a standard Midi case that I sprayed blue, second box will go in there soon and its getting a nice big Subaru logo on the side :)

Just got my lovely baybus, and helped phil have his made (long and confusing story). Its sat in a 3.5" bay and has some very coool blooo LEDs in. Very nice on the black :)
