Well in either August or when ever the Year 11 exam results arrive.
Well I am expecting to get 600 quid, but 200 of that is for college crap and stuff. I am going to defiantly get Halo, Xbox, 2 controllers and a memory card thingy.
I've been looking at these forums for about a year and half so I've seen how the Xbox has gained more momentum in the gaming world and how good it is.
Anyway considering the date and the prices may be slighly lower, can you recommend me a few games I could get.
P.s. I've also got a Ps2 so Ill want bout 2 games for that.

I've seen a deaal in currys yesterday, £160 for Xbox, halo, metal gear solid substance and joypad.
I've never been on an online game, i hate PC games, so I hink i'm going to pester my mam until christmas for broadband in bedroom so i will be able to have Xbox live.
Im defiantly, getting halo, splinter cell, and probably Motto GP 2. I am going to get Devil May Cry 2 for ps2.
I don't fancy buyimg any platinum games because even though they are cheaper, I think it just proves I can't afford the 40 quid one so no matter what price ill probably get a new one.
I think I don't like the platinum games becasue the wrapping on Ps2 platinum games seems to seperate the games from the rest.
I dont want a gamecub because my little brother has 1, I dont like him, so if he likes it I will probably hate it.
I'm very narrow minded but I have strict rules and I doubt I will cross the boundry, well I'm going to be settling down now with my £1.80 worth of sweets now anyway.
Oooooooo domt forget that its the 300th episode of Simpsons at half 9 tonight.

These are *my* essential Xbox games, and hence the ones I recommend most.

The best thing to do is get most of the games from the "classics" range (a bit like the platinum range for the PS2) they're all only £20 and there is some top quality titles there. I reccomend getting: -
Project Gotham Racing
Oddworld Munchs Oddysee
Moto GP
Dead or Alive 3
They're all £20. Bargain heh?
And I also reccommend you look into these games (i'll put "*"'s by the must have titles, in my own opinion, of course): -
*Phantom Crash*
*The Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind*
*Tom Clancys Splinter Cell*
*Halo*
Unreal Championship
Panzer Dragoon Orta
*Jet Set Radio Future*
Shenmue 2
Rollercoaster Tycoon

If you've got any money spare, You could also buy a Gamecube, they 're excellent consoles, I brought one last month and its fantastic, especially the exclusive titles like Metroid Prime and Zelda.

You do know you don't NEED a memory card for Xbox. The hard drive has all the space you'll ever need. Only get one if you want to take saves round a mates house.
