Features: Optional broad band/56k modem.
Launch games: Star wars:rouge leader, luigi's mansion, Mario Kart, Zelda, Pikmin.
Aimed at: CHILDREN!!!!

because the Xbox dosn't have a built in DVD or Broadband/56k modem and Gran turismo 3 wasn't a release game for the play station 2

I think we all know that the xbox is a much more powerful machine than the PS2.

But i'm more than happy with my trusty PS2.

Why does everyone miss the point that the the PS2 is completely 128bit, with multiple data busses, whereas the XBox uses a 32bit processor with a single data bus.

Comparing just the clock speeds is irrelevant - in some operations the PS2 will outperform the Xbox, but in others the Xbox will come out on tops.

In any case - who cares about the specs - what do the games play like !!!

y does it not play dvd's if it has a dvd drive? am i missing something here or is there more to it.... im confused?

it does have broadband capabilties built in though...
but it won't be activated until next year or something..

yeah Wookiee's right, you have to buy the remote control. the gamecube and Xbox don't have a standard dvd player so they'll miss out on special edition sets like silent hill and magazine dvd's.

The Xbox does not play DVD's 'out of the box' - you have to buy an add-on.

who told you the x-box does not have these things, the x-box does have a DVD player, in fact its a 4x DVD drive with movie playback, and the modem is optional, it supports both cable and DSL.

according to www.planetxbox.com anyway!

The ps2 had a lot more launch games than 2, and since when has the ps2 had four controller ports? hmm...
