Mine would have to be Boulderdash or Mario 64.
As a teenager I played Boulderdash (C64) all night at weekends, frequent eigth hour + sessions.
100's of hours in total.
Played through all Boulderdash's, but none as perferct as 1.
Then Mario 64 too, but once you finally finish it, well that's it, not been back since.
Love long gaming sessions, not so practical in adult life tho.

I found that the best tactic was to have loads of longbowmen and about ten mangonels was another great tactic: You could demolish buildings with the mangonels whilst they were protected by the longbowmen. Perefect whilst you use your paladins and champions to kill all the villagers. :D
i think (in AoEII) that having a couple of trebuchets bunched together, surrounded by tons of longbowmen was much fun. fun because it was easy.
Recently Pro Evolution Soccer 3 - Havent put it down or played anything else since getting it 3 weeks ago!

I must have spent the most time on games like Ocarina of time, Goldeneye and Mario 64 which was exellent games.
I am not sure how many months i played these games but i am sure that they followed me through the late 90's
