Could this not be the greatest thing ever? The two biggest arcade people in the industry in the world together... Virtual Fighter and Tekken on the same page?

Now Triforce would just be two powers: Nintendo, Namga!

Thoughts?

As long as we get that Billy Hatcher game, I couldn't care less...

It would certainly bring in a discrimination ring like Skoda did.

Isn't there a Virtua Fighter Adventure type game suppose to be coming out on the Gamecube?

Where is it? I wanna play!

Does this mean that either the Tekken or Virtua Fighter series will be dropped? In my view Namco favour the PS2 far too much and if they purchase Sega then games like Panzer Dragoon Orta which utilised the capacity of the Xbox in terms of graphics could end up as a multiformat game?! Don't Sega own Smile Bit? Will they merge too? If Bill Gates decides to whip out his cheque book again he will only have to write one cheque instead of two ;)

Seriously though I don't think it is going to benefit us in anyway and if Sega are running into money problems then I think rhey should look elsewhere if they are going to merge with a company. Thats my thoughts on the matter anyway.

I reckon Sega would still trade under their name...but would also feature Namco's names on their products.

After all, despite their consoles not doing too well at late, Sega is still a big well respected name in the development industry.

It would be great if Namco did get Sega though! Continued multi-format games and no crappy 'EA' intros ('Challenge Everything...including the quality of our games')
