.... but i`ve managed to land an awesome job :D

as of 2 weeks ago (been VERY busy since then) i`m officially employed as an animator for Rebellion Games, hurrah!

currently working on a movie tie-in game for a handheld console and they`re letting me work from home for the first few months so i can stay in town and finish up my teaching contract.

so yeah, finally i can wake up and not dread the idea of going to work... and that`s really all i wanted, loving it so far :)

once it`s ready for release i`ll be allowed to spill the beans ;)

Why not just tell your good friends at Freeola about the game? No? No?

not being sacked yet :D
as i understand it, i`m on a 6 month trial, so we`ll see how that goes before anything else, but seems to be going well so far.

shall stop in and leave funky updates when i get time but work has become even more of a priority now as i`m sure you can all appreciate.

my personal site is www.secondarymotion.co.uk, there`s some of my work up there (right back to the really awful stuff :D ) so feel free to check that out until i can say what the game is :)

Well done, there. Always nice to hear when someone gets a job they love doing, doesn't happen all that often.

I think most of the jobs I'd love to do rely on me having won the lottery or provided some other financial backing first.

I'd be quite happy working in a games shop, serving customers, to be honest, but it wouldn't pay well enough for me to do it.

Nice one mate, sounds like a great job. Guess you've got to hope the game sells though, eh.

What kind of future prospects have you been offered?
