.... but i`ve managed to land an awesome job :D

as of 2 weeks ago (been VERY busy since then) i`m officially employed as an animator for Rebellion Games, hurrah!

currently working on a movie tie-in game for a handheld console and they`re letting me work from home for the first few months so i can stay in town and finish up my teaching contract.

so yeah, finally i can wake up and not dread the idea of going to work... and that`s really all i wanted, loving it so far :)

once it`s ready for release i`ll be allowed to spill the beans ;)

almost there...

maybe not....

you making a movie based tie in game. 7/10 chance its going to be slated. Just like most movie tie in games.

But go on, prove me wrong.

But what really matters is that it'll sell and you can carry on doing your job which sounds great with flexitime.

edge is quite a good mag, but they do get caught up in the hype of things sometimes. not to the same degree as fanboy mags of course, but enough so that they dish out baffling scores like that.

Yeah, agree with you on Halo.

How Edge gave it 10/10 I'll never know.

not entirely sure i got your point there - me and my crazy literacy ;P

anyways - the hours are essentially the same as any other job, but with a degree of flexi-time and the added bonus of it being a damn cool job! :D
sure, some people may slate the game, but that`s the same for anything; i think halo is pap for example.

Envy? Me? Hah! I wouldn't want to be stuck working long hours (frequently overtime) for a game and then be slated at later date or you'll get so sick and tired of!

Yeah, if you want to do that kind of work then fine. Should be great.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
