Depends where you buy them from. But for an OEM version (brand new) I've seem them around the £20 mark.

You'd get less for a second hand one.

Mystique, I suggest putting in the paper and advertise it as "great for homework, or home office, or even as a DVD player. Very cheap." something along those lines. You'll get some nutter who doesn't know anything about the prices of computer's who'll come along and take it off your hands.

To be fair, I didn't claim to be an expert. How much do DVD drives go for nowadays?
