Anyone using a Mac here?

I need as many reasons as possible that I should get an iBook over a normal VAIO laptop.

Here's why...

My mum wants a new laptop.
She offers to buy me a new one.
She offers to take my old one.
I want iBook.
Dad is hell-bent on buying my a VAIO.
I want iBook.
I want reasons to buy an iBook over a VAIO to convince my dad.

Thanks a lot :-D

Get an IBook because they are totally up to date with the latest processors etc so when they need to be updated you simply by a new one instead of gradually buying new things, It has an easier Operating System to use, all the applications share a very basic and common HCI and as long as your Dad doesn't know much about laptops just confuse him with words like Vector Graphics, Floating Point Representation etc that all laptops use but you can say are exclusive to IBook.

"The I-book is NOT really designed for games" he said.
