Further education students are more likely to get office jobs... and so getting them to prefer MS products over an potential cometition is always useful for future versions?

At uni I had to use some software called Xilinx, don't know if anyone here has heard of it? Anyway, full retail version was about £350.
Student version - exactly the same in every way, BTW, was £45.
Or, you could buy a book on Digital Electronics, and get the full version (but without any documentation) for £30.
I love being a student sometimes....
