They've been around since the 19th Century and are selling more 'kiddie' GBAs than Playstation 2s and Xboxs put together. I think I'd call that successful.

Nintendo are definatly not going to go down. They have too much experiance and money

Look at the top 50 game sales for America in March, these are the Nintendo and Xbox sales:
1. GCN ZELDA:WIND WAKER 826,352
2. GBA POKEMON RUBY 652,595
3. GBA POKEMON SAPPHIRE 585,098
11. GBA DRIVER 2 ADVANCE 95,878
15. GBA YU-GI-OH! DUNGEON 85,457
18. GBA ZELDA: LINK TO PAST 79,719
26. GBA SONIC ADVANCE 2 70,170
29. GCN MARIO PARTY 4 61,400
30. GCN SUPER SMASH BRO 60,514
32. XBX HALO 57,756
35. XBX T.CLANCYS GH RECON 56,818
39. GBA NAMCO MUSEUM 54,425
41. GCN METROID PRIME 53,815
45. GBA GODZILLA: DOM 49,765
51. GBA FROGGER'S ADV: TEMPLE44,961
52. GBA SUPER MARIO ADVANCE2 43,512
Everything else inbetween is a PS2 game.
Microsoft only have two games in the top 50, and the biggest selling is still Halo, which apart from being a testament to how good it is, also shows a worrying lack of other, newer, decent games for the Xbox.
Only four of those Nintendo games are for Gamecube, but three of them are higher than Halo, and one dominates the top spot (Zelda had been out only 10 days).
And with Pokemon in 2nd and 3rd, selling over a million combined, Nintendo are making huge profits.
Tell me again that Nintendo aren't successful.

Not a problem in any way or form for me as I now own all 3 next gen consoles. Which is nice.

Put simply, the GameCube is third behind the PS2 and the Xbox in the console market. Traditionally, only the top two competitors survive. Do I think Nintendo will go down? No way. Do I think the GameCube has been a success.....

I wondered about a PS2 but it's too expensive , what's made me interested in Gamecube again (apart from the two obvious games) is the price tag and deals around for it.
I don't see any reason to buy a PS2 for £169.99 when I have an Xbox as the games are pretty much similar, and the GTA series doesn't interest me.
