This is not good, people like consoles because you get a game put it in and it works. The people will not like getting a game, installing it, having it crash, going to the internet to get an update, installing it and hoping that just when you get to the end of a level in will not crash again.
I only hope Microsoft get this sorted fast before the Xbox disappears in to obscurity.

Yes I do. Why not? They've done it with Windows for years!

on videogamereview.com....all the reviews of the xbox have had no mention of it constantly crashing..

I read this article, and yes the Demo boxes are buggy.
You must remember though these boxes are left on all day.
The DC and PS2 also crash when left on for too long.
When they first came out the fans used to pack up on the DC.
When the PS2 came out the power supplies kept on packing up.
I think the odd crash is better that hardware failure dont you?
