Right, most people will know that this game is 60Hz display only. Ok, I have a 60Hz T.V. and when I heared it would be 60Hz only, it didn't bother me. But I tried it today and I have a problem. It's black and white display! So I tried Prime in 60Hz. Black and White too! What is going on? I checked my TV manual. Yep, deffinately 60Hz. I have swapped all my cables around at the back (PS2, DVD, Cube ect). Nope, still black and white. So I then check my PS2 60Hz games. Tis fine. All worked fine with brilliant colour. But none of my cube games will... Could it be the cable supplied with the Cube? I noticed it has less pins than the PS2 and DVD socket plug thing. So could anyone help? Anyone else having trouble like this? Please help! Link wears green not grey!!!!!!!!!!!

Dammit!

60hz won't work with my crappy 20 year old big TV.

The screen just flickers around in like a 'everythings scrolling up really quickly' kinda way...

Can't play bonus disk now on that TV...

Still connected via RF lead too! Lines, lines and lotsa lines!

Maybe the old one with scart in my room will work?

Hmmmmm.

My OOT disc doesn't work on my gaming TV! :-D

Now I can't sell it because the case would seem gay without it but can't use it either! :-D

It's really not as funny as I make it sound. I cried myself to sleep :-D

:-D

I had those stoopid diagonal lines on my Cube when I used my old RF cable from my N64 to hook up my Cube (TV has no SCART). Then I hooked up parents old VCR to my TV and discovered that has a SCART input, so I routed my GC through the VCR with SCART cables and it sorted the diagonal lines... Dunno why you're getting them... :S

But anyway, enough of your problem... *unceremoniously takes over thread* My OOT bonus disk displays in perfect colour on my old crappy TV that has no SCART... but there's no sound!?! I have no idea why. This happens with all games I've tried in 60Hz... all works fine except the sound... playing Zelda with no sound would just be crap...

Any ideas...?

Well, I got the RGB as reccomended. Pleased to report it sorted out the Colour problem. But. And it is a big but. Now the colour is parched, and the picture, wehther 60hz or 50, has terrible diagonal lines running down it. I'm gonna re-route the cable, or wrap it in tinfoil, but is there anything more simple I can do?

My telly IS NOT 60Mgz compatible - all the 60 games I've run are in black and white. But it tried the bonus disc when it came and ... ta-daa .... perfect colour.
What the hell's going ooon?

I took the 60hz issue into consideration when i bought my new tv. It works dandy with all of my american games. I still bought the official RGB cable though, after seeing it in game for £8 i couldnt resist.
