i read the other day that the council in luton are considering banning christmas there because it'll offend muslims. Am I the first to say or have the balls to say .........erm so what if it bloody does?
Last time i checked i was in England, a country of freedom where we can express our opinions and ideas freely (well supposedly) why is it people can go around in our town squares burning images and figures of our prime minister and degrade our country yet we can't celebrate a damn holiday just cause it may offend a minority.
If we're going to ban christmas how about banning ramadan cause that may offend christians, oh wait no i forgot nowadays if your in a majority your not allowed to say a damn thing otherwise your a racist, sexist or any one of hundreds of terms all the PC people and do gooders have managed to come up with while trying to make this world a *better* place.
Even if they do ban christmas i don't give a damn either way if remembering the story of the birth of jesus and reflecting on all the good he did in his life, putting some decorations and tree in my house and exchanging presents with my loved ones makes me a racist then ah well i guess i'm a racist but either way i don't care, i'll go on expressing my ideas and feelings cause this is England and i can do it.(until the do gooders get around to abolishing that right as well)
If people can go around burning things in a town centre then i think i should be able to have a peaceful celebration in my own house with my family and celebrate my faith

These statements are very relevant today. Governments don;t want people to have ideas about how things could be done better by a better government because that would put them out of power. So the truths that 'aren't fit' for the public are filtered out. Masses of people don't think that the world can be better, but simply accept the problems of our world, and the 'fact' that we cannot change them. But if we don't who will? The governments of our countries?

Well religion's all about control. ever since the Jews and Sikhs the religious leaders have been equal or more powerful than the rulers of the country/province. Religious leaders can easily brainwash followers by condemning stuff and they follow suit.
I'm not trying to say that that happens with everybody but you only need a hundred odd beards/turbans/crosses for people to get their way.

I am sick and tired of being told how to live my life by people who as far as I am concerned should mind their own damned business. I am of no religious persuasion whatsoever and have no desire to be so, before anyone gets on their high horse about that. I am perfectly happy for people to worship in whichever way they prefer, but don't tell me what I can and cannot do.
The latest politically correct idiocy to get my goat is that the British muslim community are trying to remove piglet from the Winnie the Pooh stories because he is a pig. Bloody cheek! How dare they! These books were my favourites as a child and I object to these people dictating what we should read. I am not a muslim and if these books were written with piglet in them then in them he will damned well stay.
To make a further point, if they read the books properly they would realise that piglet is not actually a pig. He is described just once as a "small pink animal". No mention of pig there!!!

i'd like to triple the motion of the 2 guys and the religion stuff. i don't believe in a god i don't follow catholism, islam, buddhism etc etc the thing i believe in is me. I know i exist and i know only me can decide my fate i don't believe in all this god created the world in 7 days bull. hell the bible contradicts itself numerous times and seeing as i can only count to twenty i lost count just how many. i don't believe in all this god has decided a path for you. so does that mean if that's true he decides for certain people to be murderers and rapists and thiefs etc etc i thought god was all peaceful?
as far as i can see at the moment religion causes war not peace just look over to afghanistan or even closer to home in ireland with those people trying to stop catholic girls getting to school cause it's a protestant area. man this is a whole load of rubbish going down in the world today just believe in yourself, family and friends and you'll be a rich person.
