Is it possible to get a job in gaming where you are responsible for dreaming up ideas rather than actually making them using the technical side?

Start off as an artist, work up. Shouldn't have to do proper programming as an artist, though you may have to do some in-depth 3d modelling and character animation.

There's some freaky act out there that allows you to copyright your work if it falls under certain headings like original story, original design/art work etc All you need to do is type your name then the copyright symbol and the year.
