I recently bought GTA 3, and was hoping to get a good save going. I have the 16MB Mega Memory Card with Memory Manager, so I loaded up the memory card (as I usually do), played the game and tried to save it. Lo and behold, the game didn't recognise my card. The problem is, is that all the games I have rented and all my own games work with the memory card, so why doesn't GTA3? If anybody else has had this problem, tell me how to fix it!

The 8mb ones are easily big enough. I have 21 games, and I have saves for all of these and a few of my friends games on one card with loads of space to spare. I do have a second card, but that's just for MTV Music generator.

I learnt my lesson from the PS1. Never buy unoffical products or bigger capacity memory cards. I had a 8mb for the PS1, it did work ok but data was lost for no reason. My advice would be to still keep the 16mb card but also get a 8mb to use for games that dont work with the 16 and also to keep any backup data. 8mb is plenty big enough I think as I own 12 games and I have a save for each on the memory card and I still have 5320 KB left.

The GTA3 guys and Sony will just tell you that it's your fault for not getting the official card, so you;ll just have to go and buy one. Sorry!

You say it doesn`t recognised the memory card? Why not simply introduce them to eachother.

Memory Card, meet GTA3. GTA3, this is Memory Card.

Well, you either 'waste' £30 on an official memory card, or you've already 'wasted' £30 on GTA3! Your choice! :-)

I would bin it, but I aint gonna waste 30 quid just for one game. As I said, it works on all the others except GTA3, so I have no idea what's up.

10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Excellent support service!
I have always found the support staff to provide an excellent service on every occasion I've called.
