Today I was playing football with my mates like I do every lunchtime at school. This guy called Andy decided it would be fun to rugby tackle my mate and kick him when he was on the floor. I helped my mate out and went to rugby tackle Andy but when I did he got up and went into a blind rage and started smacking me in the head and stuff. I only did what he did to my mate, yet some people are incapable of getting what they give. Now I have a bruise on the side of my head, hurts a lot too.

Some people eh!

I'm sure I'd be good in a fight, you don't work out and hit punch bags and spar in the ring for years without at least learning something. Trouble is, I do everything possible to avoid a fight. Even if I end up looking like an idiot, I'll talk and talk and try anything to get myself out of a bad situation. Unless I actually get hit, or if somebody hits one of my mates, I won't do anything.

I'm just scared I'll get my head kicked in, I suppose. Everytime some radgie comes up to me and starts something, my heart drops. Every time. And it happens quite a bit, considering how many radgies there are around here, heh.

Generally the vast majority of people are reluctant to have a fight of any kind. Being 'hard' goes soley on reputation I recon, people at my school who are meant to be hard guys, I have never seen fight. A lot of people are all mouth and wouldn't know how to fight, I think very few people really do. But maybe it is for the best.

Well, at least you know you're not a coward. I am. Anyhoo, yeah, not a lot you can do sometimes. Out on the street, maybe, but in a school, it's hard to have a real fight. Sounds like my school, back then there were at least six or so kids I wanted to knock out, but all of them were friends with the supposed hard kids. Would've been suspended and had my head kicked in. Not nice.

If only I was actually hard...

I wasn't trying to appear tough or anything, I didn't even fight back which isn't tough at all. I was just trying to make a point about some people, hence the title. [Tommorow come and read my 'I'm so tough and dreamy' topic]

I could of made a big deal about it and started a big fight but there was no need to. Firstly because he probably is tougher than me and 'has contacts' and secondly because my school would probably expell me, which isn't a good thing before my GCSEs. You may think I am over-exagerating here but this guy got expelled from my school a couple of years ago for fighting, they take it way too seriously.

I'm not going to go all crazy and try and seek revenge because I recon that makes me just as bad as him. I don't go around looking for fights and will only fight if I am seriously threatened. I only got one punch in the head, I dodged the others, so I am not majorly pished off about it or anything, I just don't like to see my mates get bullied by goons like him.

who needs weights, just fill a rucksack with spanners and proceed to beat the guy into a none-moving bloody mess. nah thats probably a bit OTT actually.

But you at least have a go at him. My personal preference? apply the elbow generously to the temple ...
