It's a news story on Cube-Europe that Ikaruga is coming out on Friday.
And apparently, to many sites, Burnout 2 is also.
I have them both coming as GAD wins *is grateful* and can't wait.
Thing is, Ikaruga, Burnout 2 and Zelda are all going to be begging to be played. As are all the other games I want to get back into like SSX Tricky.
MOOFAH!
Bascially the actual game doesnt need to be good to sell well, it's got the name. But being a good game also helps.
Though the game with be mediocre verging on pap I'm betting.
The thing is, I usually want games after I've read the review, seen the video etc etc.
I have seen no reviews for Enter The Matrix, infact I've jsut searched for some on Game Rankings and there is none. Yet, the game is out this Friday?!? Normally there are a mountain of reviews 2 or 3 weeks before a game is released if not more.
Why are they doing this? Well maybe because they know suckers are gonna buy this game even without looking at reviews of the game. And for thsoe who do, THERE ISN'T ANY! So the majority will buy it anyway.
Videos are have been rare aswell, I snatched one up and it didn't show much of in-game stuff at all.
Prepare for massive disappointment all those who buy this game. Buy from GAME, you can take it back within 10 days and get your money back.
How the hell can Woolworths replace a game that has probably been selling amazingly well for a few weeks with a game that isn't even out yet... or has been for a couple of days?
Idiots.
wat morons.
I've seen a video of the game and the fighting aspect is poop.
It's just got this whole thing around it for some reason saying "Oh could this one, maybe, be the film to game license which will stop them all being crap?" Well no, it's just going to make things worse because your fooling alot more wiser gamers. It's got the whole 'The Matrix' name to it too, which means many people will just buy it for that.
Take it like this, you hype up say a big Nintendo release which is actually a good game but you are disappointed. Now you hype up a game which is probably, from what i've seen, very bad and think how disappointed you shall be.
Be safe, buy Burnout 2.
I'm playing it now, it is twice the game Burnout was and even that was good.
Burrrrrrrrnout!
Chugga Chugga!
