Today a group of 'talented and gifted' people at my school (including myself) were given the opportunity to do part of a university course alongside our 6th form options. The teacher didn't really go into details but basically it gives us extra credit and makes elite universities more likely to let us attend.
Just wondering if any other people were offered this or know about the scheme.

Im on that for Graphics, Art and something else.
Its all a load of balls really, nothing special. And it basically says that a few bunch of people are special in the school and all the others arent.
Stupid.
And yes, ive been on crap trips like this before. They smell. Best part was the coach journeys to the university places where we would hold up signs to the window... and count sheep... and... stuff...

We have ages to make our minds up.
The course runs from Feb 2004 until october 2004, however we have to do it all in our own time and I also want to write for the school newsletter (journalistic experience) or do the school website [They both count for extra credit & make uni's like you] - I don't know if I could do it all (5 courses and extra stuff) but I know it will be beneficial to my future.
