Ouch. I heard a crunch. MS will have no more children.

Who are owned by EA.

Erm no, I'm not actually a crap pop group.
Microsoft licence out to developers the ability to use and integrate the game into Xbox Live, developers pay a fee to do so, but benefit from increased sales. Hence if EA don't want to benefit from the sales being a Live game brings - look how Live! enabled games stormed up the Xbox sales charts on it's official release - then it's EA who lose out.
In addition, NFL Fever on the Xbox is a Microsoft Game Studio's product - correct me if I'm wrong here someone - and they also do NFL and NBA fever. Hence if EA are not making their sports games available online to Xbox owners then the money goes straight to MS, or a game licensed for online play, which MS have made money with. The lack of EA on the online sports scene for Xbox opens up a massive oppurtunity for both MS and Sega to exploit sales.
Ta-da!

You mean Sega's 2k range. Which is also out on PS2.
Haha.. busted.. ;D
Slight thing I forgot to point out with the 2k series - it is multiformat but incorporate Live! play on the Xbox, hence MS get money from that, and there is MS's own Fever range also.
What the actual result for EA will be is falling Xbox sales of their titles whilst MS's 2k range cleans up.
So it's really like EA have shot themselves in the foot...
Good one EA, may it come back to bite you!
