We all know stealing from people, no matter how rich, is bad (apart from Bill Gates, that is); what about stealing from companys and corporations? They can afford it. Is it okay to steal from my local GAME store? They have CCTV and gaurds, it's fair play. What about my local Gamestation? I ask because the prices we are expected to pay are higher now than in the hayday of videogaming; it's un-fair. Anyway, this is a bit random but I've gotta be in town in half an hour and I wanted to see peoples responses tomorrow.

In all fairness the only problems that face you are getting the actual games that are behind the counter and getting out without making the sensors at the door go off. If you are going with friends you can just get them to distract the store workers with inane babble and the people at the counter are always busy anyway.

Thinking about it...

No need for guards really.

Say they get paid £15k per year for saving £500 (or whatever) worth of games.

Silly really. The shops should fire the guards. And the CCTV equipment...

When I worked in Gamestation - some guy stole two consoles.

He managed to get into the shop window to get one of them, and climbed over the counter for the other, both during opening hours!

After the way the company have treated me, I find it rather amusing.

Speaking of Bill Gates [Original Post] I saw a newspaper article on rich peoples houses. It had Matt Le Blanc of Friends fame in a $3 million mansion, but before I had finished "wow"ing, I saw Bill Gate's $39 million palace. I conclude it is alright to steal from him.

Out of principle, I would justify stealing from Game, but not Gamestation. Game is a dirty francised place that is totally overpriced, Gamestation sells discounted games and try to give the customer a better deal. It isn't fair to steal from them, it is on terms with robbing a charity shop or something.

He he, I used to run Play-Mode which is a little independant not far from Special Reserve HQ.

One day while I was on my lunch break and the owner was looking after the shop A guy managed to steal 5 ps2 memory cards and 2 games.

Gamestation sells faulty pre-owned games which they 'process' through machines at their head office in attempt to get them to run.

If you see spiral marks on the underside of a PSOne game disc, then you now know where they came from.
