"Nintendo storm IGN's top 100 games list..."

Nintendo's presence was felt throughout the list but really opened up in the latter half of the list. I was delighted to see Conker's Bad Fur Day at Number: 46 but I was equally delighted to see the top 6 games of all time coming from our favourite developer:

6: A Link to the Past
5: Super Mario 64
4: Tetris
3: Super Metroid
2: Ocarina of Time
1: Super Mario Brothers

Oh and X-com at number 8 WAHOOOO!

How Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec made #21 I will never know.

At least they put Alone in the Dark above Resident Evil 2.

Some of the things in that have either been rated way too highly, or shouldn't even have been included at all.

As far as I remember, Interceptor was crap, and the E-mail version was incredibly simplified. Haven't played any of those games in years.

Tetris was developed by a Russian guy. I think the license for the game is held by an independant company rather than a standard games one. Calling it a Nintendo game is crap to be honest, it's been most popular on the Gameboy, but that's like saying GTA3 is a Sony game because it's most popular on the PS2.
